I believe that it’s a fad nowadays for people to start a personal blog, been enthusiastic about it for a week or two and then abandon it, never to update it again. Hopefully I’ll be one of the rare people that will stand out by keeping the blog updated with my ramblings and thoughts.
I think that introductions are in order. My name is Andraž Rihtar and on the world wide web I call myself KAMI, because I’m egotistical like that. Friends either refer to me as Rihtar or KAMI, because my first name can not be pronounced by your average person. At the time of writing this (March 2015), I’m 23 years old, living in an apartment with my older brother. I work at my family’s accounting business as an administrator where I do everything an accountant should do as well as make sure that the PCs and the company website run smoothly.
I’m a rather shy person and an introvert, meaning that I spend most of my time inside my room glued to the PC monitor. I’m perfectly happy with that, especially now that nearly anything can be delivered to your doorstep – hooray for internet!
I’m a big fan of anime, manga and eroge so I spend most of my free time watching anime, reading manga and playing visual novels. I also run a website dedicated to my obsession called irateANIME where I write reviews and other opinion based articles with some help from a couple of friends.
Main reason why I’ve decided to start this personal blog is to practice writing in English and hopefully get better at it. The other reason for starting this blog is the fact that I need an outlet for my thoughts and I simply like to ramble and complain about my first-world problems.
I honestly have no clear vision for the type of content I’ll be writing here. All I know is that I’d like to write at least one blog post a week to justify setting up the blog and buying the domain. Hopefully this goes better than my social media which is a ghost town due to my inactivity.
Anyway, this is enough rambling for one day. Considering that you’ve made it to this part, I congratulate you. I hope I’ll see you in my next article (if I can call it that) and I hope we can get to know each other better. Peace!
